A heated fight between miners Eesa and Mokhtar leads to a tragic accident. Eesa's push sends Mokhtar sprawling, unknowingly damaging his oxygen tank. As methane gas leaks in the mine, Eesa leads others to safety, but Mokhtar's depleted tank proves fatal. Eesa must now decide between accepting praise built on a lie or revealing his role in Mokhtar's untimely death. "The Coal" explores the weight of our choices and the cost of our actions, intentional or not.
