"The Coal" Short Film at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival
The Iranian short film “The Coal,” directed by Saman Lotfian and produced by Seyed Maziar Hashemi, will make its international debut at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France. This festival is the largest short film event in France and one of the most renowned in the world, second only to the Cannes Film Festival.
“The Coal” was selected out of 9,500 submissions for the festival’s competition section. The film features an ensemble cast including Sajad Afsharian, Nasrollah Radesh, Mehdi Miami and Mahmonir Beitari.
